Irrigation tubing

Natural lacustrine and estuarine sediments whose accumulation rates are low, generally below 0.25cmyr , often do not satisfy the above requirements. The biophysical term biotur-bation refers to surficial sediments mixed by the actions of deposit feeders, irrigation tube dwellers, and head-down feeders (Boudreau, 1999). In general, these bioturbation processes do not occur in reservoirs where sediment accumulation rates exceed land often Scrnyr (Callender, 2000). At these rates, the sediment influx at the water-sediment interface is too great for benthic organisms to establish themselves. 

Tubes that are clad inside and outside can be produced by co-extrusion. The most economical approach is to manufacture seam-welded tubes from sheet that is clad on one or both sides. This is commonly done for irrigation tubes in 3003/7072, and for heat exchanger tubes used in cars. 

The prolonged storage of aluminium equipment such as irrigation tubes, should be made in a location that is free from fertiliser dust. Otherwise, severe attack of the equipment can be observed during storage.
