In dust collection there is an ever-increasing demand for more stringent control of atmospheric pollutants. Improved media performance will be necessary in order to meet these demands and in conventional dust collection it is expected to see greater use of finer fibres, and fibres of irregular cross-sectional shape, applied in the form of surface layers as previously described.
