Intervening purposes

The purpose of the observation element is to monitor whether the transformation is performed according to the transformation s theory-in-use and espoused theory. In case of any deviation, relevant information will be transferred to the judgement element. Please note that the observation element actually measures any deviation of the inputs, resources and output of the transformation. The judgement element determines if an observed deviation is serious according to the organizational values and norms present as espoused theory and theory-in-use. Subsequently, the judgement element decides whether or not to intervene and transfers this information to the... [Pg.70]

Certainly, if protection of the Silverado aquifer is the primary objective, and the water table aquifers (i.e., Gage, Old Dune Sand, or Semi-perched aquifers) are essentially a write-off, then the intervening aquifer(s), although not used for water supply, may serve the purpose of guardian aquifers. [Pg.392]

In the present chapter devoted to the electrochemistry of POMs, our purpose is not to provide an exhaustive review of all the papers in which some electrochemical aspects of POMs intervene, but rather to emphasize the fundamental principles that govern the vast majority, if not all, of the electron transfer behaviors of these chemicals at electrodes and help to explain their electrocatalytic properties. As... [Pg.613]

In the particular case of a sensitized photopolymerization process, the expression for Rp must be modified to reflect the photophysics of the sensitizer S and the efficiencies of the processes which intervene on the way to creation of the free radical R- which will eventually initiate chain formation. For the purposes of the present discussion, consider that R is formed by the following sequence of reactions ... [Pg.433]

In any normal trial the defense could and should have intervened here, but in light of the scenario of hate that had been tolerated and even partly contributed to by the Court, the defense in the Wuppertal trial saw no purpose in doing so. In order to avoid providing even further material for all the advance preparation and choreographing of the witnesses for the prosecution (in flagrant violation of all rules of procedure, by the way), the defense counsel had advised the defendant to refrain from making any statements of his own. After the verdict had been handed down, the press twisted this accordingly ... [Pg.151]
