In 2000, discussions were initiated between the International Conference on Harmonization (ICH) Expert Working Group Q1 (stability) and WHO to harmonize the number of stability tests and conditions undertaken worldwide. [Pg.51]

Some companies dominate specific fields and the ability to build and defend their franchise within a market segment seems to be one of the important features that single out successful companies. It takes years, if not decades, to build a franchise and, once built, companies will do all they can to maintain their position within a given field. At the FATIPEC Conference held in Paris, June 3 to 6, 1951, an international group of experts pooled their information. The papers were combined and published under the French title, Journ es d Etude sur les Peintures et Vernis dans la Lutte contre le Feu, describing the role of paints and varnishes in the war against fire, John C. Moore and myself were honored to be invited to present some of the work done at the laboratories of the Scientific Section of the National Paint, Varnish and Lacquer Association. [Pg.2]
