Nonvolatile inorganic yields

Listed in the order Yx, Y2 with Yi = volatile organic, and Y2 = nonvolatile Inorganic yields. [Pg.69]

Spurious Apparent H F Product Formation in the Moderated CHF /Cc Fr System. An Important insist followed from an in- vestlgation of moderated pure CHF3 samples. In the absence of C3F6 competitor, the measured O.9IO O.OO7 nonvolatile inorganic yield exceeded the reported 0,86 0.01 thermal reaction fraction at 1000 Torr (2k-26). A spurious contribution to the apparent H F yield was thus indicated that must have originated from the energetic F reaction fraction. [Pg.74]

At large specific radiosictivity the C1 F product was exclusively recovered in the nonvolatile inorganic yield fraction. [Pg.79]

Perhaps the most striking feature of the 10,000 Torr results is that the extrapolated nonvolatile inorganic yield corresponding to the moderated CsFe limit increased to a value of 0.l8 0,01. Based upon the observed 0.068 0.020 constant organic yield and the cited thermal reaction fraction, only 0.071 0,007 of the yield from energetic reaction sequence 13-27 was distributed between the inorganic yield fractions. In the CaFe limit, therefore, most of the nonvolatile inorganic yield residue must have consisted of formed from a trace impurity... [Pg.81]
