Indazole molecular structure

The indazole molecular structure (Figure 11) shows the tautomeric proton bonded to N-1 (1//-indazole. Section 4.04.1.5.1). A linear correlation between the bond lengths and the bond orders calculated by the CNDO/2 method was observed (74T2903). 

The complex [(r 1 r 1-Indz)( x-B)Et2]2 obtained by the treatment of indazole with BEt3 in toluene has an anti dimeric molecular structure (Fig. 4.14).79... 

Wrzeciono et al. have investigated the structure of 4-nitro-7-phenylsulfonylin-dazole [183] and molecular complexes of 3,5-dinitroindazole with morpholine in the ratio of 2 1 [184], with thiomorpholine in the ratio of 1 1 [185], with pyrrolidine in the ratio of 1 1 [186], with piperidine and water 2 1 2 [187], with /V-methylpiperazine and water 2 1 2 [188], The indazole systems in the complexes are approximately planar. 

Indazoles (benzo[c]pyrazoles) have been studied to a much lesser extent than the related pyrazoles. Yet, molecular entities conlaining this structural motif have started to flourish recently in the context of pharmaceutical sciences and materials [60]. In particular, the preponderance of fluorine containing indazoles in journals and chemical patent literature is very limited. For the sake of clarity, fluoroindazoles will be classified in four categories, depending on the exact location of the fluorine atom within the bicyclic core ...
