Peptides offer an attractive alternative to mAbs as targeting vehicles for in situ radiotherapy of cancer, since their much lower molecular weight (Mj 1-6 kDa) results in rapid ehmination from the blood by renal excretion, and facilitates their penetration into solid tumors [24].
