Image Systems, Inc

For the practical evaluation of the algorithm described previously it is integrated into the NDT Sean Manager system (DBA Systems Inc, Melbourne, FL, U.S.A). This system allows film digitisation, display, evaluation and archiveraent of images /3,4/ and was developed for the needs of computer based industrial NDT film inspection. A snapshot of the user interfaee for wall thickness evaluation is shown in fig. 3. [Pg.564]

Figure 10.19 FTIR imaging system. Left, an optical pathway in an IR microscope associated with a spectrometer. The sample can he examined in transmission (left), or in specular reflection modes (right). This accessory is installed in a spectrometer whose beam is deflected. The Cassegrain optic has the advantage that the light is reflected at the surface of mirrors rather than having to pass through optical lenses. Right, model 400 UMA (reproduced courtesy of Varian Inc. USA). Figure 10.19 FTIR imaging system. Left, an optical pathway in an IR microscope associated with a spectrometer. Figure 4.79 Use of FTIR imaging, (a) The visible light image of an inclusion in polypropylene film. Sample size is approximately 450 x 450 im. (b) The false-color IR image of the same inclusion showing the distribution of a carbonyl contaminant in the inclusion. The relative intensity of the gray scale is related to concentration, which is actually displayed in full color by the instrument. The image contains more than 5000 spectra at 6.25 im pixel size. The total data collection time was 90 s. Collected on a Spectrum Spotlight FTIR Imaging System. [ 2004-2014 PerkinElmer, Inc. All rights reserved. Printed with permission, (www.perkinelmer.com).]...
