A slightly different type of illuminate canister is used in projectile M485, which is described below and shown on Fig 1-12 

The burning illuminant produces approximately 1,000,000 candlepower for 120 seconds. Length of fuzed projectile is 23.79 inches muzzle velocity and max range are the same as for M118A2 (Ref 52, pp 2-138 to 2-140)
