5 Hyperpolarized Noble Gases, Gas Phase Imaging and Other Nuclei 

The melting and dissolution process of Xe ice into different solvents have been visualized by means of hyperpolarized Xe. A broadband Ytterbium-doped tunable fiber laser for He optical pumping at 1083 nm was developed and a supply of large amount of He gas becomes available with high efficacy.
