Hydrotreating flow diagram

Air emissions from hydrotreating may arise from process heater flue gas, vents, and fugitive emissions. Figure 6 provides a simplified flow diagram.

Depending on the severity of the operation, hydrotreating is done at elevated temperatures and pressures. Higher temperatures and pressures are needed to open the complex ring compounds and remove the sulfur molecules. A typical flow diagram is shown in...
