Hydrocracking Process Variables

The proper operation of the unit will depend on the careful selection and control of the processing conditions. By careful monitoring of these process variables the unit can operate to its full potential. [Pg.246]

Products from hydrocracking processes lack olefinic hydrocarbons. The product slate ranges from light hydrocarbon gases to gasolines to residues. Depending on the operation variables, the process could... [Pg.78]

This procedure can be applied for data at different temperatures and other variables such as type of catalyst, feed, pressure, etc., in order to establish the dependence of the kinetic model parameters on these variables for any particular hydrocracking process. This is mathematically possible although the final correlations could be applicable only for the specific ranges of conditions under which the parameter values are derived. [Pg.424]

A process has been introduced (88) based specifically on improved selection and control of operating variables. Potentially the most important new developments have been in the area of reforming catalysts. Up to a few years ago, work in this area centered on metal distribution studies (95) and general optimization (51). This work has been covered in reviews (14, 94, 135). Very little has been published on more recent catalyst development although some papers have been presented (53, 81, 111, 128, 144). Available information on the use of such new catalysts points to greatly improved stability, particularly at severe conditions, and also to increased yields by reduction of hydrocracking. There is no indication that the use of such catalysts involves any basic changes in... [Pg.38]
