4 Hydride generation atomic absorption and fluorescence methods 

To summarise, these techniques can be very useful for pushing down detection limits for hydride-forming elements mainly for unpolluted soil sample as shown in Table 4.4. 

Sensitivity is the typical concentration of die element which produces a signal of 0.0044 absorbance. Limits of detection are based on three times the standard deviation of die blank.
