There is mention in the literature of another pretreatment which works well on stainless steel. This is a proprietary, patented, experimental pretreatment developed by Ciba AG (now Huntsman Advanced Materials) and, as such, is an alternative to the more conventional wet processes. It is designated CLP (Ciba Laser Pretreatment). [Pg.204]
