High-pressure-promoted domino reactions

The reaction was performed in aqueous media under microwave irradiation with a short reaction time of 7-19 min. Noteworthy, there was no need to add any strong acid or metal promoters. 

Similar to microwave and ultrasonic techniques, high-pressure reactions are a mild, nondestructive alternative tool to drive those reactions of high activation 

in this reaction, applying a high pressure resulted not only in higher yields
