Hemi-orthothioamide

Kaloustian and co-workers (37) have reported that the kinetic breakdown of hemi-orthothioamide tetrahedral intermediates (156) was found to involve the preferential cleavage of the C-N bond ( H>8) rather than the C-0 bond (->157).
