Heat dissipation capillary material

In columns of a smaller diameter, the radial temperature gradient is less significant and the heat dissipation through the column wall becomes more efficient, so that efficient capillary columns of diameter < 0.5 mm could possibly be packed with smaller particle material to achieve high efficiencies. [Pg.29]

In jet impingement cooling, a coolant imder pressure is passed through a capillary tube, or jet, aimed at the surface of the component to be cooled. The coolant, a dielectric material or air, strikes the surface of the component and absorbs its heat dissipation. [Pg.133]
