Hardware resources functional units

Hardware resources, e.g. function units, registers and connections, could be shared when they are executed alternatively. Hence, the exploiting mutual exclusiveness is important in order to reduce required hardware resources. 

Operating System Computer program designed to manage tbe resources (including input and output devices) used by the central processing unit and that functions as an interface between a computer user and the hardware that runs the computer.
