Halogeno-phosphine and-arsine complexes

Halogcno-phosphinc and halogcno-arsine complexes of tervalent technetium are collected in Table 12.14.A. [Pg.261]

Reaction of [TcOCUj with excess trimethylphosphinc in refluxing acetonitrile yielded TcCl3(Mc3P)3j as a yellow-orange solid. Tc(lII) is surrounded by a meridional arrangement of Me P and the three chlorines. The Tc-Cl distance of 2.440(1) A for the chlorine trans to one phosphine is considerably lengthened compared to the other Tc-Cl bond distances. The coordination geometry of Tc(lll) is distorted octahedral (406). [Pg.263]

In early studies of technetium chemistry the halogcno-diarsinc complex compounds of Tc(IlI) TeCl2(diars)2jCl. [TcBr2(diars)2]Br, and [Tcl2(diars2 I I2 were prepared according ter the reactions  [Pg.264]
