H. K. Ferguson

Gamboa, J.G., Reeve, H.K., Ferguson, I.D. and Wacker, T.L. (1986) Nestmate recognition in social wasps the origin and acquisition of recognition odours. Anim. Behav. 34, 685-695. [Pg.176]

The proposal cleared the Military Policy Committee on Jime 12,1944. On June 18 Groves contracted with the engineering firm of H. K. Ferguson to build a 2,100-column thermal-diffusion plant beside the power plant on the Clinch River in ninety days or less. That extraordinary deadline allowed no time for design. Ferguson would assemble the operation from twenty-one identical copies— Chinese copies, Groves called them—of Philip Abelson s 100-column imit in the Philadelphia Navy Yard. [Pg.553]

Suckow, in International Symposium on Runaway Reactions and Pressure Relief Design, CCPS/AIChE, Boston, MA, August 2-4,1995. Determination of Chemical Process Heats by Experiment and Prediction. [Pg.210]

Pfennig, D.W., Gamboa, G.J., Reeve, H.K., Shellman-Reeve, J. S. and Ferguson I.D. (1983). The mechanism of nestmate discrimination in social wasps (Polistes, Hymenoptera Vespidae). Behav. Ecol. Sociobiol., 13,299-305. [Pg.17]
