Undoubtedly there are many modern resins, still unstudied, that may provide distinct and characteristic NMR spectra. As we describe herein, Dacryodes ex-celsa from Puerto Rico exhibits the same spectra as materials from the Bursera-ceae family from Mexico. On the other hand, a sample of resin from Guiacum officinale produces a unique new NMR spectrum. [Pg.82]
