GSP gasifier

Figure 4.21 shows a schematic of the GSP Plus process. The distinct difference from the former GSP gasifier is that the water wall is changed from a pressurebearing structure to a nonpressure-bearing structure, which is suspended in the gasifier. The structure can be seen in Figure 4.22.

Entrained flow gasifier (GSP-type) for oil slurries, pastes, fuel mixtures from tar and sewage sludge etc. (25 bar operation pressure). 

After decommissioning, the BGL gasifier from the GSP site was relocated to Dharma, Orissa, India. Accompanied by an identical unit, it is intended to be used for synthetic ammonia production. Also on the Chinese market in Hulun-beier. Inner Mongolia, three BGL gasifiers have been put into operation, processing lignite briquettes for ammonia and urea production. Further, nine gasifiers are recently involved in other Chinese projects [209,212,213].
