Group-Transfer Reactions of Nucleotide Coenzymes

Section II,B of this chapter considered reactions in which parts of nucleoside triphosphates were transferred to some acceptor, whereas this section considers the transfer of other groups attached to nucleoside mono-or diphosphate carriers, to appropriate acceptors, most of which are not nucleotides. The number of compounds transferred in this way is very large and only general types of groups, and types of products formed, will be outlined here. [Pg.37]
