Grit blaster

Abrade with medium grit abrasive paper or an appropriate grit blaster (when using abrasive paper care should be taken to select one with a suitable binder). 

Care, though, still needs to be exercised over the final cleaning and drying operations. Fig. 26 shows a schematic of a typical wet grit-blaster.
