My family was very supportive. Some of them thought I was eccentric and beyond normal grief. But I have other family members who have chemical sensitivities, so they were pretty understanding. They didn t think I should stay in my house after my husband died, and they were right. But I m real independent, and I wouldn t leave. So family members took turns coming to my house to stay with me. I couldn t even talk to anyone, my nervous system was so shot. They would just come and sit and read and leave me alone.
