The ACS Green Chemistry Institute (GCI) is very active in promoting activities related to education and cooperation with industry and had sent a representative to the workshop that outlined the Green Chemistry Network. This was the starting point for a very useful exchange of ideas with GCI (including conversations by phone) which also provided materials used in courses and outreaeh aetivities.
