GRAVIMETRIC-MODE SENSING

P(Py)-TOS film deposited on a 5 MHz BT-cut quartz crystal plate. The mass sensitive area equals 0.31 cm and the mass sensitivity is 27.1 ng Hz cm. After reference [806], reproduced with permission. [Pg.503]

Another mode of sensing which falls into the gravimetric category is use of the electromechanical actuator property of CPs to construct bimetallic type strips or sensors, whose bending indicates presence of certain analytes. This property of CPs is discussed subsequently in this book in Chapter 21, and sensors based on it are also discussed therein. [Pg.504]
