Graphene applications

Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted. 

Indeed, probably one of the very reasons you are reading this book is that you have read that graphene is a fantastic material for use in electroanalysis and in energy related electrochemical applications. On inspection of the literature one would believe that this is true and we could endlessly list the reported papers where graphene modified electrodes have been reported to be useful in electroanalysis, or have provided benefits in energy storage and generation applications. However, upon closer inspection of this literature, all is not what it seems and we aim to
