Roll-flaked grain

Cooked, unexpanded cold-formed pellets, as described under TPS, are further processed into flakes or shredded products by rolling and roasting (Fig. 14.26). Multi-grain flakes, which cannot be produced in conventional cookers, can also be produced by this process. [Pg.285]
