Grades boron trichloride

Boron trichloride is condensed (acetone/dry ice) into a 500-mL two-necked flask equipped with a gas inlet and a CaCl2 drying tube. In the meantime 480 g (1.12 mole) of tetraphenylstannane (technical grade) is placed in a 2-L threenecked flask equipped with a magnetic stirrer and water condenser topped with a CaCl2 drying tube. The set-up is cooled in an ice bath. [Pg.207]
