Governing parameter

The primary question is the rate at which the mobile guest species can be added to, or deleted from, the host microstructure. In many situations the critical problem is the transport within a particular phase under the influence of gradients in chemical composition, rather than kinetic phenomena at the electrolyte/electrode interface. In this case, the governing parameter is the chemical diffusion coefficient of the mobile species, which relates to transport in a chemical concentration gradient.

Due to the complex mixed-mode nature of composite delamination, no closed form solutions have been developed yet to express the influence of governing parameters that control the edge delamination behavior. The next series of numerical experiments was performed for the oxygen-dust mixtures with the values of governing parameters taken from Table 14.1. In closing, we see that certain simplified models are beneficial, especially when they permit analytical solutions to be derived showing the influence of all key governing parameters. As seen in the above analysis, however, certain information is unavailable such as information on the transient cell voltage. In addition, effort is needed to independently assess the overall cell resistance, R(I). which, in general, is also a function of other parameters (reactant concentration, temperature, and pressure). This can be remedied by adding additional equations as the following section shows.

Electrospinning of natural fibers offers unique capabilities for producing novel natural nanofibers and fabrics with controllable pore structure. Current research effort has focused in understanding the electrospinning of natural fibers in which the influence of different governing parameters are discussed.
