Gold complexes room temperature conductivity

The CT complexes are obtained as a needle-shaped form, and these crystals can be mounted and fixed with conducting silver paste onto two gold wires (100 pva thick) paralleling each other. The conductivity is measured along the needle direction. The two-probe conductivities (at room temperature) of these complex crystals are relatively low, at most 10 S cm for the DMQtT-TCNQF4 complex [22]. This is consistent with incomplete charge transfer in the complex (see Section 3.2). [Pg.326]
