Glauber, Johann Rudolph [1603 (or 1604)—1668]. Dutch (or German) "iaerochemist" [belonging to the 16th century school of medicine basedon principles of Swiss physician Paracelsus (1493— 1541)] who prepd expl substances Potassium Picrate and Ammonium Nitrate.
