Geheimrat , Haber

Geheimrat Haber was accompanied by his wife, a nervous lady who was sharply opposed to his accompanying the new gas troops to the front, recalled one member of the group in 1955. But Haber would not be dissuaded. In February, together with his handpicked scientist-soldiers, he packed and drove westward toward the ancient trading city of Ypres. [Pg.157]
