Gasoline regular

The French specification for sulfur in all types of gasolines —regular, premium, with or without lead— is 0.1% maximum, that is, 1000 ppm. This value is easily achieved because in the majority of commercial products, the content is less than 500 ppm. [Pg.252]

A European Directive, 85/210/EEC, limits benzene content to 5% by volume in all gasolines regular, premium, with or without lead. This level is easily achieved, since the average value in 1993 was less than 3%. in France, for example, average benzene concentrations of 1.7% and 2.6% were reported for leaded and unleaded premium fuels, respectively, in 1993. [Pg.258]

Source As o+p-toluidine, detected in distilled water-soluble fractions of 87 octane gasoline and Gasohol at concentrations of 0.80 and 0.19 mg/L, respectively (Potter, 1996). o Toluidine was detected in 77% of 65 gasoline (regular and premium) samples (62 from Switzerland, 3 from Boston, MA). At 25 °C, concentrations ranged from 13 to 18,000 pg/L in gasoline and 10 to 1,400... [Pg.1065]
