Bullous pemphigoid furosemide

Cases of furosemide-induced lupus-Uke syndrome (11), bullous pemphigoid (12,13), and lichenoid drug eruptions (14) have been reported. 

Furosemide has previously been related to other bullous dermatoses, particularly bullous pemphigoid (SED-14, 671). In this case only a temporal relation was demonstrated, as rechallenge was judged to be unethical. The other putative offending drug, co-amoxiclav, was regarded as unlikely to be causative, because it had been given many times before without noticeable skin lesions.
