Fungi forensic potential

The advocacy for forensic potential of fungi has recently been revived (Carter and Tibbett 2003 Tibbett and Carter 2003). However, there have been no major developments in this field for thirty years (see Sagara 1976b). We hope mycologists and forensic scientists will collaborate to take the concept of forensic mycology forward into an accomplished and effective forensic science tool.
