4-MeCf,H40H/Me0H with argon over Zeosorb 13X/K catalyst at 4.36 1/h with contact time 1.34 sec. (catalyst from activation of Zeosorb-type mol. sieves at 450° for 1-2 h and exchanging 36.8% 

Mixture of PhOH and acidic form of polystyrene sulphonic acid heated to 120°, treated with MCjO over 2.5 h. 

Phenol (94 g) and 60% benzene sulphonic acid, heated to 130°, diluted conversion
