From Diaryl Ditellurium Compounds

Diaryl ditellurium compounds and tetrakis[triphenylphosphane]palladium reacted in benzene to form the dinuclear complex bis[7t-arenetellurolato]bis[arenetellurolato]bis[tri-phenylphosphane]dipalladium.  

Bis[triphenylphosphane] bis-[2-thiopheneteIlurolato]dipalladium Under nitrogen, 1.15 g (1 mmol) of tctrakis[triphenylphosphane]palladium are dissolved in 50 ml of anhydrous benzene, a benzene solution of 0.42 g (1 mmol) of bis[2-thienyl] ditellurium is added, the mixture is stirred under nitrogen overnight, and then filtered. The brown solid is washed with diethyl ether and dried over phosphorus pentoxide under vacuum. Addition of hexane to the filtrate precipitated additional product.

From Diaryl Ditellurium Compounds and Thionyl or Sulfuryl Chloride... 

Arenetellurolates, prepared from diaryl ditellurium compounds via reduction with sodium borohydride in organic media, interact with arenediazonium chlorides2 and arenediazonium tetrafluoroborates3 to produce unsymmetrical diaryl tellurium products in yields below 50%. The arenediazonium chlorides were added as aqueous solutions to the tellurolates. Arenediazonium tetrafluoroborates were used as solids. 

Lithium alkanetellurolates, prepared from tellurium and an alkyl lithium compound or dialkyl ditellurium derivatives and hthium, and sodium arenetellurolates, obtained from diaryl ditellurium compounds and sodium borohydride ", reacted with triorganosilyl, -germyl, -stannyl, and -plumbyl chlorides to produce, for instance, organo triorganosilyl tellurium compounds.
