6-Formyl-2,3-dimethoxybenzoic acid

To a stirred mixture of 6-formyl-2,3-dimethoxybenzoic acid (1 1 mmol), secondary amine (2 1 mmol), and isocyanide 3(1 mmol) was added silica nanoparticles (0.2 g), and then the whole reaction mixture was stirred vigorously at room temperature for 7 h. After completion of the reaction, flash column chromatography (petroleum etherEtOAc = 5 2) of the residue furnished purified desired product 4. All the products were characterized by their elemental analyses and spectral studies. [Pg.155]
