Most admixtures are supplied as a liquid. Liquid admixtures are generally considered easier to dispense accurately and more readily dispersible evenly through the mix. Where an admixture is supplied in powder form it is normally added to the dry batch prior to mixing but in the case of powder or flake calcium chloride it should be carefully and thoroughly dissolved in water before use. [Pg.15]
