Fitting the negative electrode assembly

You will need six 8-32 nuts and one stainless steel fender washer. 

A From the outside of the flange, put on the fitting tube nut, and twist it moderately tight so that the ferrules grip the Teflon insert. 

Seat the pleated mesh electrode into the pipe cap. 

Slip on stop tab at the top of the pleated mesh electrode, bend the two tabs down onto the pleats to hold the mesh electrode firmly in place.
