Filhng factor

Trommel inclination, which usually varies between 2 and 5 degrees, affects the residence time of the waste material in the drum, as well as the trommel throughput. Other factors that affect the throughput are trommel diameter and filhng factor. Trommel screen is a valuable item of many solid waste-processing plants, as it appears to be a clogging resistant screen. 

Depending on the voliune filHng factor of the matrix material, substantial shrinkage of the porous network accompanied by crack formation may occur for low filHng fractions during template removal. Furthermore, annealing the repHca material at elevated temperatures may lead to a transformation from one modification or crystal phase to another that is thermodynamically more stable at these temperatures, as shown for the thermal conversion of amorphous titania or its anatase phase to the rutile structure [79]. 

The stractures of the alkali metal fullerides may be considered to be intercalation compounds of the fee lattice of the Ceo host formed by filhng the interstitial sites. Superconductivity has been investigated in detail for the alkali metal and mixed alkah metal phases of composition AgCeo where the conduction band is half filled. Critical temperatures as high as 31.3 K (in Rb2CsCeo) have been observed. A clear correlation between unit cell size and Tc is observed, and it has been suggested that the conduction bandwidth controlled by the separation between the molecules is the dominant factor in determining Tc. 

Stasis is, by definition, a diminution in the normal rate of bile flow, which appears to be necessary for the removal of potential gallstone nidi. This flow is initially determined primarily by bile salt secretion from the hepatocyte, but secretion by ductular cells and reabsorption of fluid and electrolytes by biliary tract epithelium are also important factors. In species with gallbladders, flow in this organ also depends on its filhng passively and then emptying by muscular contraction. In all cases, flow can be diminished by mechanical obstruction, and most of the early work with stasis mentioned...
