Exposure Models — Use in Standard Setting

Three elements must be present and validated in any exposure model [Pg.111]

1) Partitioning of the substance between the soil phases (air, water, soil) [Pg.111]

2) Transport of the substance into the contact medium (e.g., indoor air, biological tissue in plants or soil organisms, and groundwater) [Pg.111]
