Explicit scoring

The characteristics and data from critically appraised studies should be presented in tables. The data should include sensitivities, specificities, and likelihood ratios wherever possible. These can then be summarized in plots that provide an indication of the variation among studies. The summary should also include an assessment of the quality of each study, using an explicit scoring system. A review should also present critical analysis of the data highlighted in the review. [Pg.338]

Here are some common explicit score changers to think about for a lead Title and role... [Pg.314]

After you have thought about scoring and how to best apply it to your own lead database, you need to create your scoring model. This is where you go through all of your implicit and explicit scoring criteria cmd determine how important each action or trait is to you and your business. Every business will be different. There is no right or wrong answer here, so score away ... [Pg.316]

Next, take your chart for implicit and explicit scoring and create a matrix to determine when leads should be sent to sales. In Figure 18-3, you can see an example of a scoring matrix based on behavioral and demographic scoring. Use a similar chart to assign leads to sales. [Pg.317]

The first definition is operational. It explicitly states criteria for deciding whether a player is a star. He is one who regularly scores an unusually large number of points or who in clever defensive acts, repetitiously and. To decide if a player is a star, you count his scoring or, alternatively, number the outstanding defensive plays he makes. [Pg.195]

It should be clear from the above discussion that the LIE method is thus fundamentally different from other typical molecular mechanics based scoring procedures that are designed to evaluate all separate contributions to the binding enthalpy or free energy explicitly. That is, such methods, e.g. Refs. 23-25, express the binding energy as something like... [Pg.177]

The scores for the optical currency and the polymer currency are close at the top. With a more explicit security focus than plain polymer currency, the optical currency is the final choice. [Pg.429]

Cation-TT interactions are another important motif, dominated by electrostatic interactions [47] within mainly hydrophobic subsites. Such a stabilizing interaction takes place between cations like ammonium ions and electron-rich jt-systems of neighboring aromatic rings. Both interactions are often not explicitly contained in common force fields or scoring functions. [Pg.65]

In any event, Duchamp himself had tied this same title. La Mariee mise h nu, to his own, Maierlike musical fugue (MD-78). Likewise now tied to common alchemical symbolism is Duchamp s unique effort at musical composition, itself probably explicitly hermetic in its formal realization and initial purposes. Duchamp s musical hermeticism most likely has a decipherable formal component. Unfortunately, since I am myself quite unable to read musical scores, I must leave to a properly trained musicologist the onerous task of matching the strictly formal details of Duchamp s and Maier s scores. In any event, the matter of analogous content and purposes between Maier s and Duchamp s three-part fugues seems now perfectly clear. [Pg.262]

Instead of directly scoring alternatives on a normalized scale or assuming a linear correlation between attribute values and decision makers preferences an explicit value function can be constructed to convert observed attributes into preference values (cf. Goodwin and Wright 2004, pp. 37-39). [Pg.136]

Note that all results (the scores t, the scores distances, the orthogonal distances, and the scatter matrix x) depend on the number of components k. But to simplify the notations, we do not explicitly add a subscript k. [Pg.191]
