Experimental study of the rotational diffusion constant

The rotational diffusion constant has been measured by relaxation of the Kerr effect,and by dynamic light scattering. The experimental results are in accordance with the theoretical predictions 

As has already been mentioned, precise comparison with experiments is hindered by various effects sudi as polydispersity and bending of polymers. Quantitative theory for these effects is difficult, but the quiditative aspects have been chscussed in re s 16-18
