Experimental measurement of coalescence

To follow the coalescence of a powder by experiments, two kinds of measurements are used  

It is then advisable to coimect the experimental quantity X (specific area or average diameter of the grains) to the theoretical kinetic quantities like the fractional extent or the x/r ratio.

The authors did not give any physical meaning to this law and only used it to calculate the derivatives. 

From these laws we will deduce the infinite reactivity and the space function or the x/r ratio.
