Experience of project

Whereas individual motors tend to be oversized rather than undersized, it is more common to make insufficient allowance for increased numbers of drives, both as project designs develop and for the future. When deciding on criteria for future additional drives, it is often more illuminating to review past experience of project design and plant development than to rely exclusively on the process technologist.
