Swartz and Sidell (1973) observed that tit six volunteers given 2-PAMCl 5 mg/kg body weight (but not atropine), exercise alone and exercise and heat stress significantly (p < 0.05) increased the PAM elimination half-life [71.2 7,4 min (control) vs 87.7 i 14.7 and 86,2 13.5 min. respectively). This suggests that exerci.se and heat reduce the renal elimination of PAM,...
