European Molecular Biology network

Nielsen, Anita Kildebsek received her Ph.D. degree from the University of Aarhus in 2000 with a thesis analysing the social and institutional networks of Danish chemists in the early twentieth century. She was assistant professor in Aarhus from 2001 until 2004 and subsequently held a postdoctoral position at the University of Copenhagen until 2006. She currently works as head of administration at the Technical University of Denmark. Anita is vice chairman of the Danish Society for the History of Chemistry, Denmark s representative in the Federation of European Chemical Societies Working Party on History of Chemistry, and is on the editorial boards of the history journal 1066 and of the journal of the Danish Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, BioZoom. She has specialized in the history of chemistry, biochemistry and medicine in Denmark in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, and her publications include essays on Danish Nobel Laureates and chapters in Dansk Naturvidenskabs Historic, 2005-2006. [Pg.354]
